This is the latest AMOLED display kit for the Gameboy Color.
With exceptional colour and the deepest blacks as expected with an OLED display.
Features include: –
- OSD touch screen menu
- 4 pixel effects
- 32 colour logo
- Integer scaling 16:1
- 8 background colour modes
- 10 Brightness levels
- FRM – Frame Blending, used mainly for some Gameboy games
- Laminated display- will fit Funnyplaying Gameboy Color Laminated shells
The display kit includes:-
- The AMOLED display panel
- PCB display board
- Ribbon cable
- Wire
To operate the OSD menu, touch and hold the screen for 5 seconds for the OSD menu to appear.
Slide up or down to navigate the menu and touch the triangle chevron to change the menu item value.
IMPORTANT:
- Please test before installing into the console. These displays are very fragile and too much pressure on the screen will damaged the screen.
- We test all screens display kits particularly AMOLED kits and we will be unable accept any returns if the display has been installed into the console.
- To test the screen kit leave the GBC mainboard in the bottom half of the shell with batteries inserted and the console in the off position. Solder the power wire as in the instructions.
- Remember also handle the ribbon cable carefully as they are very fragile and not to apply any pressure to the display.
