All kits are tested before dispatch so please be careful during installation as both the ribbon cable and lcd screen are fragile .

Amazing mod. Transforms the DMG like I’ve never seen before. And being a slightly larger screen, it’s good for my retro eyesight ! Wasn’t too difficult to install. Does feel rather snug, but ok if you don’t screw the case down too tightly.

Hmmm, the speaker supplied was too big for the either the IPS ready case or the original case. Even with the case adjustments made to the original DMG case you still can’t toggle the OSD so I had to undone some screws. Now there is some give in the marriage of both top and bottom case which doesn’t look great.
Whilst it is a full kit it’s not the best I’m afraid.

No soldering required, optionally you can cut the case edgings around the screen (underneath the display) , makes it a bit neater but not required.
The effects are outstanding. As Robert said , you need to screw the case a little bit (tiny bit) loose , so the contract wheel spins nicely.
It’s a really easy mod to do and the effects are brilliant – finally I can play Mole Mania and see it properly!
